Job summary

Avera Health is seeking an EHR Application Principal Trainer to design, develop, validate, maintain, and deliver role-based training for assigned EHR and healthcare information system applications. You will partner with informatics analysts, operational leaders, and the learning team to ensure curriculum accuracy and effective training delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in related area.
• Three years of related experience in EHR training, application support, healthcare information systems, clinical informatics, healthcare operations, technical training or instructional design.
• Experience developing role-based training materials and adult-learning content.
• Experience working with Epic and other healthcare information systems.
• Epic Principal Trainer certification or willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain curriculum for assigned EHR applications.
• Deliver instructor-led, virtual, and one-on-one training sessions.
• Evaluate training effectiveness and update materials accordingly.
• Coordinate curriculum review and obtain approvals before implementation.
• Build and maintain training environments and test data.
