Job summary

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 1–3 years of EHR implementation and support experience; 2–5 years acceptable with related ops experience.
• Ability to analyze large data sets effectively.
• Vendor certification in applicable EHR modules; 6 months to obtain if not certified.
• Experience with Microsoft Office apps (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Defines, documents, builds and maintains EHR content (essential).
• Creates functional specs for EHR content and verifies with business owner (essential).
• Completes projects with moderate supervision and develops project management skills (essential).
• Escalates issues impacting deliverables (essential).
• Acts as IT-business-vendor liaison and participates in cross-functional meetings (essential).
• Prepares and maintains user guides and procedure documents (essential).
• Provides on call / after hours support as required (essential).
• Mentors junior colleagues in application knowledge (essential).
