Job summary

Beth Israel Lahey Health is seeking an EHR Application Analyst II to design, configure, implement and continuously improve EHR content across Ambulatory and multiple clinical modules.

The role requires collaboration with IT, business owners and vendors to validate requirements, prepare documentation, manage projects and provide on-call support; you will mentor junior colleagues and stay current with new EHR functionality.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 1-3 years related work experience in EHR implementation and support; or 2-5 years of operational experience with EHR applications.
• Ability to analyze large data sets effectively.
• Vendor certification for assigned applications/modules with a 6-month window to obtain it.
• Experience with web-based applications and MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access).

Responsibilities

• Defines, documents, builds and maintains EHR content.
• Creates functional specification documents for EHR content and validates with the business owner.
• Completes projects with moderate supervision and demonstrates project management skills.
• Escalates issues impacting deliverables.
• Maintains required certifications and stays current with new functionality.
• Acts as a liaison between IT, customers and vendors and participates in cross-functional meetings.
• Prepares and maintains documentation including analysis, design, programming and user guides.
• Performs other duties as needed and provides on-call/after-hours support.
• Mentors junior colleagues in EHR knowledge.
