Job summary

Beth Israel Lahey Health is seeking an EHR Application Analyst II to design, configure, implement and support diverse EHR content across clinical and administrative modules. The role collaborates with IT teams and business customers to ensure accurate functionality and ongoing improvement.

The analyst will document specifications, lead moderate-size projects, stay certified in applicable EHR tools, and provide after-hours support when needed.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 1-3 years experience with Electronic Health Record implementation and support.
• Vendor certification in assigned applications within 6 months of hire/transfer.
• Experience with web-based applications and Microsoft Office (Outlook/Word/Excel/PowerPoint/Access).

Responsibilities

• Defines, documents, builds and maintains EHR application content.
• Creates functional specification documents and validates content with business owner.
• Completes assigned projects with moderate supervision; develops project management skills.
• Escalates issues impacting deliverables and provides on-call support as required.
• Mentors junior colleagues in application knowledge; maintains documentation and user guides.
