Job summary

GardenCore is seeking an EH&S Coordinator to administer the plant’s Safety Program, maintain OSHA documentation, and track materials per permit requirements.

The role supports quality in Growing Media and Mulch through formulation oversight, testing, and ensuring processes meet specifications. A2 or HS diploma and 1–3 years of related office experience are preferred, with strong communication skills and MS Office proficiency.

Qualifications

• Associates degree preferred or equivalent; HS diploma required
• 1–3 years of related office experience
• Excellent verbal and written communication and presentations skills
• Detail-oriented with strong quality focus
• Ability to work with administrative, production and technical personnel at all levels

Responsibilities

• Administer the plant’s Safety Program
• Maintain OSHA documentation
• Serve as Safety Committee Secretary
• Maintain and adhere to the Plant Safety manual
• Maintain safety records and prepare monthly reports
• Assist in permit applications and regulatory submissions
• Manage PPE and first aid supplies
• Assist safety training for plant personnel
• Maintain employee relations policies
• Conduct weekly Toolbox Talks
• Complete new hire onboarding and trainings
• Enter and maintain data in on-site systems
• Inspect environments and equipment for regulatory compliance
• Document findings and violations for regulatory purposes
• Support monthly inspections and weekly meetings
• Complete annual DEQ emission reports and permits compliance
• Stay updated on industry regulations and new technologies
• Track inbound/outbound materials
