Job summary

GardenCore is seeking an EH&S Coordinator to administer the plant’s safety program, maintain OSHA documentation, and support permit compliance. The role includes training, data entry, and ensuring adherence to safety standards across all operations at the Dallas plant.

Responsibilities cover hazard assessment, safety reporting, and coordinating with departments to maintain a safe working environment. Excellent communication and organizational skills are required.

Qualifications

• Associates degree preferred or equivalent in academic background and experience/training.
• High School degree or GED required.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of general office procedures and equipment.
• Detail-oriented with a dedication to continuous improvement and team building.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Administer the plant’s Safety Program.
• Maintain all required OSHA documentation.
• Serve as Safety Committee Secretary.
• Maintain and adhere to the Plant Safety manual.
• Maintain safety records and prepare monthly safety reports.
• Assist in permit applications to regulatory agencies.
• Order and maintain PPE and first aid supplies.
• Assist with safety training for plant personnel.
• Maintain employee relations policies and procedures.
• Weekly Toolbox Talks.
• Complete new hire onboarding trainings.
• Enter and maintain data in site software for data/records.
• Inspect work environments for governmental compliance.
• Observe and enforce safety precautions across staff.
• Document findings and violations as evidence.
• Complete monthly inspections and weekly meetings.
• Complete annual DEQ emission reports and permit compliance.
• Stay updated on new industry and regulatory tech.
