Job summary

GardenCore is seeking an EH&S Coordinator to administer the plant’s safety program and ensure compliance with OSHA, DEQ and permit requirements. You will oversee formulation, material testing, incoming inspection, and quality assurance for Growing Media and Mulch products at the plant level.

You will maintain safety manuals, generate monthly safety reports, train staff, and coordinate safety-related data entry, while supporting employee relations and records maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Administer the plant’s Safety Program.
• Maintain all OSHA documentation.
• Serve as Safety Committee Secretary.
• Maintain Plant Safety manual and safety records.
• Prepare monthly safety reports and assist with permit applications.
• Order and maintain PPE and first aid supplies.
• Assist with safety training and employee relations policies.
• Conduct weekly Toolbox Talks and new hire onboarding.
