Job summary

GardenCore is seeking an EH&S Coordinator to administer the plant's Safety Program, maintain OSHA documentation, and ensure compliance with permit requirements for growing media and mulch products. The role includes formulation oversight and testing, incoming material inspection, and maintaining quality standards at the plant level.

Responsibilities include safety training, recordkeeping, monthly safety reporting, and coordination with regulatory agencies.

Qualifications

• Experience administering safety programs and compliance
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work with cross-functional teams and external regulators

Responsibilities

• Administer the plant’s Safety Program
• Maintain OSHA documentation
• Serve as Safety Committee Secretary
• Maintain and update the Plant Safety manual
• Prepare monthly safety reports
• Assist with permit applications to regulatory agencies
• Manage PPE and first aid supplies
• Support safety training for personnel
• Track inbound/outbound materials for compliance
• Conduct monthly inspections and tool-box talks
