Job summary

Daybreak Foods in Michigan is seeking a Sanitation Technician to clean and sanitize egg processing equipment on a daily basis. The role follows a rotating 3/4 day schedule and reports to the Processing Supervisor.

You will work with chemicals, high-pressure cleaners, and basic tools while ensuring GMP compliance. Ideal candidates have experience in food plant sanitation, willingness to learn egg-specific equipment, and the ability to work independently.

Qualifications

• Previous food plant sanitation experience is highly desirable.
• Training for egg-specific equipment will be provided.
• Familiarity with GMPs or equivalent practices is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Disassemble, clean, sanitize and reassemble processing equipment daily.
• Handle chemicals and high-pressure cleaning equipment safely.
• Maintain records and ensure GMP compliance.
• Review sanitation chemicals with supervisor for proper use.
• Follow GMPs and keep equipment in good repair.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
