Job summary

Daybreak Foods, Inc. is seeking a Sanitation Technician to clean and sanitize egg processing equipment after each shift, following a rotating schedule of three and four days.

The position reports to the Processing Supervisor and involves working with cleaning chemicals and basic tools to ensure food safety standards are met. Responsibilities include disassembling and reassembling equipment, maintaining GMP compliance, keeping records, and continual training on equipment and chemical safety.

Qualifications

• Previous food plant sanitation experience is highly desirable.
• Training for egg specific equipment would be provided.
• Familiarity with GMP's or equivalent practices is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Disassemble, clean, sanitize and reassemble processing equipment daily.
• Work with chemicals, high-pressure cleaning equipment, manual scrubbing, hose use and basic tools.
• Maintain training on correct use of equipment, chemicals and MSDSs.
• Review sanitation chemicals with supervisor for use and mixing.
• Maintain records and paperwork.
• Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).
• Keep equipment in good repair.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
