Job summary

Daybreak Foods, Inc. in Whitewater, WI is seeking a Sanitation Technician to clean and sanitize egg processing equipment after each shift, following a rotating 3/4 day schedule.

The role reports to the Processing Supervisor and involves maintaining GMPs and equipment cleanliness throughout daily operations. The ideal candidate will have prior food plant sanitation experience, be able to work with cleaning chemicals, and communicate effectively in English.

Qualifications

• Previous food plant sanitation experience is highly desirable
• Training for egg specific equipment would be provided
• Familiarity with GMP's or equivalent practices is highly desirable

Responsibilities

• Disassemble, clean, sanitize and reassemble processing equipment daily
• Work with chemicals and high pressure cleaning equipment
• Maintain training on equipment, chemicals and MSDSs
• Review sanitation chemicals with supervisor for use and mixing
• Handle record keeping and paperwork
• Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs)
• Maintain equipment in good repair
• Other duties as assigned
