Job summary

Renasant Bank in Birmingham, AL is seeking an EFL Operations Documentation Specialist responsible for preparing all EFL documentation to protect the bank's interest and ensure compliance.

You will determine required loan documents, perform UCC searches, manage document setup and retention, coordinate with credit officers and legal, and support funding, payment processing, and reporting.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred.
• Minimum 3 years in EFL, commercial lending, or similar industry.
• Proficient with EFL, commercial lending or related industry knowledge.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Solid customer relationship skills and ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Determine the appropriate loan documents to protect the bank’s interest.
• Perform UCC searches and verify lien positions; coordinate with lenders.
• Prepare EFL documentation and manage file setup, retention, and insurance follow-up.
• Support funding processes, wire/check applications, and ancillary document collection.
• Collaborate with legal, credit officers, and operations on documentation accuracy.
• Create reports for management and handle ACH setup and posting.
• Daily and monthly reconciliation and related duties as assigned.
