The position involves researching collateral, processing loan denials, and ensuring compliance with bank policies. Applicants should be detail-oriented, organized, and adept with standard office equipment.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old
• High school diploma or GED required
• Experience helpful, particularly in a financial environment
• Basic knowledge of commercial and consumer loan services and procedures preferred
• Familiarity with general loan documentation helpful
• Accurate and attentive to detail
• Well organized
• Good typing skills
• Willing and able to help others
• Able to use a computer, adding machine, copy machine, and basic business equipment
• Able to get along well with coworkers

Responsibilities

• Handle all loans that are paid off; research loans to verify collateral is not cross‑collateralized with other loans; request approval from the lender to release collateral; and release vehicle titles, UCC filings, and Deeds of Trust when applicable
• Amend UCC filings that have come up for continuation, verify with the lender that filings need to be updated, and track all filings to the Premier system
• Review denials for completeness and verify that denials are processed following the Bank policies and procedures
• Complete all loan non‑posted items and, if unable to resolve in the department, communicate with the branches so they can determine the resolution
• Balance the following general ledger accounts and clear them when applicable: branch clearings, department transit account, and all fees in process
• Assist in balancing the credit life general ledger accounts
• Ensure that customers' requests and questions are promptly resolved
• Maintain and project the Bank's professional reputation
• Promote D.L. Evans Bank at all times
• Serve as a representative for D.L. Evans Bank in the community
• Complete special projects as assigned
