ServisFirst Bank is seeking a Loan Specialist I - Booking in Birmingham, AL to review loan documentation and book details into the internal system. This role ensures all loan requirements are met and compliant with bank policies.

You will handle loan packages, request missing information, input data into LaserPro and Jack Henry interfaces, and maintain accurate ledgers while supporting a compliant, efficient loan process.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ year of related or similar experience.
• Attention to detail as demonstrated in reviewing documents for accuracy.
• Ability to input accurately using a keyboard.
• Experience using Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Review loan documents for completeness, accuracy and adherence to the credit approval.
• Request additional information from all regions on un-bookable loan packages.
• Book loans into the loan system within 24-48 hours of receipt using LaserPro to Jack Henry interface.
• Note missing documentation and gather documents required to complete the booking process.
• Add collateral and collateral document listing in Jack Henry; fund loan in Jack Henry; ensure loan fees are disbursed and processed correctly.
• Prepare general ledger ticket items at time of booking and clear GL exceptions the following day.
• Disperse collateral documents to appropriate area for recording or tracking.
• Review reports to ensure accuracy of loan setup; code and input data into loan systems.
• Follow compliance regulations and policies applicable to this position.
