Job summary

Pearson is seeking a proactive Faculty Support Specialist to join a team that ensures top-tier onboarding for educators using Pearson courseware. You will coach the Faculty Support Associates, handle escalations, and drive adoption through proactive outreach and high service levels.

This role requires strong communication, time management, and collaboration across cross-functional teams, with occasional travel during peak periods.

Qualifications

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to break down complex messages for all audiences.
• Demonstrated leadership through personal responsibility, accountability, and teamwork.
• Experience in supporting faculty onboarding/setup with technology or equivalent.
• Strong time management with the ability to meet multiple deadlines.
• Familiarity with educational technology and Pearson Higher Education products is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Coach Faculty Support Associates and manage escalations requiring expert help.
• Proactively check in with top adoptions and engage at-risk adoptions needing extra support.
• Handle course builds and provide guidance for accounts requiring higher service levels.
• Lead instructor onboarding sessions and collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet faculty needs.
• Maintain reliable attendance and adapt to peak periods, including some weekend coverage.
