Job summary

Dallas Independent School District seeks a Desktop Support Technician to keep classroom and office technology running smoothly. You will troubleshoot hardware and software, support campus users, and assist with instructional software and AV equipment.

Required is an Accredited High School Diploma or equivalent and one year of IT support experience; A+ certification preferred. The role is full-time, based in Dallas, with a focus on customer service and reliable problem resolution.

Qualifications

• Accredited High School Diploma or equivalent.
• One year of experience in information technology support services.
• Knowledge of Microsoft operating systems, Office Suite and Office 365.
• Knowledge of Mac OS, iOS, Chrome OS and Google Applications for Education.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• A+ Certification preferred.
• ITIL V3 Certification preferred.
• Excellent customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Support campus-based technology users.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair hardware and software.
• Escalate system disruptions to the appropriate tier II department.
• Train principals, teachers, and staff as required.
• Support special events at campus and district locations.
• Support computers, mobile devices, digital A/V equipment and peripherals.
• Support instructional software applications.
• Attend training and meetings as required.
