Job summary

Candor Consulting & Diagnostics is seeking a compassionate Occupational Therapist to empower students and schools. You will evaluate needs, communicate findings, and develop evidence-based interventions that promote participation and independence in education.

You may deliver direct therapy or supervise COTAs, participate in IEP teams, and support families. Starting pay is $50 per hour with flexible full-time, part-time, or as-needed roles, plus health/retirement benefits and referral bonuses.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or higher from an accredited Occupational Therapy program.
• Active Occupational Therapist license issued by the Texas Advisory Board of Occupational Therapy (TABOT).
• CPR certification.
• Bilingual skills preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate Needs: Perform Occupational Therapy assessments to determine students' needs and eligibility for specialized services.
• Communicate Findings: Communicate evaluation findings to parents, educators, and other stakeholders, offering clear, actionable recommendations.
• Develop Interventions: Collaborate with the IEP team to create evidence-based interventions that promote student participation, access to education, and skill development.
• Provide Therapy: Deliver direct therapy services or oversee COTAs in implementing IEP goals.
• Monitor Progress: Maintain accurate, detailed records of student progress and use data to adjust interventions as needed.
• Support Team: Actively participate in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and multidisciplinary team discussions to advocate for students and support their growth.
