Job summary

Candor Consulting & Diagnostics in Texas is seeking a compassionate Occupational Therapist to empower students and schools. You will evaluate needs, develop interventions with the IEP team, and provide direct therapy or supervise COTAs to implement goals.

Responsibilities include communicating findings to parents and educators, monitoring progress, and actively participating in IEP and multidisciplinary meetings to advocate for students.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or higher in Occupational Therapy.
• Active Occupational Therapist license issued by the Texas Advisory Board of Occupational Therapy (TABOT).
• CPR certification.
• Bilingual skills preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate Needs: Conduct OT assessments to determine students’ needs for services.
• Communicate Findings: Share evaluation results with parents and educators with actionable recommendations.
• Develop Interventions: Create evidence-based interventions with the IEP team to promote participation and skill development.
• Provide Therapy: Deliver direct therapy or supervise COTAs in implementing IEP goals.
• Monitor Progress: Maintain records and use data to adjust interventions.
• Support Team: Participate in IEP meetings and conferences to advocate for students.
