Job summary

Candor Consulting & Diagnostics is seeking a compassionate Occupational Therapist to empower students in school settings. You will assess needs, communicate findings to families and school staff, and collaborate with the IEP team to design evidence-based interventions.

You may deliver direct therapy or supervise COTAs to support IEP goals, track progress, and adapt plans based on data. Join a mission-driven team focused on student growth and well-being.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or higher from an accredited Occupational Therapy program.
• Active Occupational Therapist license issued by the Texas Advisory Board of Occupational Therapy (TABOT).
• CPR certification.
• Bilingual skills preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate OT assessments to determine students' needs and eligibility for specialized services.
• Communicate evaluation findings to parents, educators, and other stakeholders, offering clear, actionable recommendations.
• Develop evidence-based interventions with the IEP team to promote student participation, access to education, and skill development.
• Provide direct therapy services or oversee COTAs in implementing IEP goals.
• Monitor student progress and use data to adjust interventions as needed.
• Actively participate in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and multidisciplinary team discussions to advocate for students.
