Job summary

Candor Consulting & Diagnostics in Arlington, TX, seeks an Occupational Therapist to enhance students’ functional skills within educational settings. You will assess needs, communicate findings, and partner with IEP teams to craft evidence-based interventions.

Deliver therapy or supervise COTAs, maintain progress records, and participate in team meetings to advocate for students’ growth and success.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Active Occupational Therapist license issued by the Texas Advisory Board of Occupational Therapy (TABOT).
• CPR certification required.
• Bilingual skills preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate needs: conduct OT assessments to determine student needs and eligibility for services.
• Communicate evaluation findings to parents, educators, and stakeholders with clear recommendations.
• Develop interventions with the IEP team to promote participation and skill development.
• Provide direct therapy or supervise COTAs in implementing IEP goals.
• Monitor progress with detailed records and adjust interventions as needed.
• Support IEP meetings, conferences, and multidisciplinary discussions to advocate for students.
