Job summary

Candor Consulting & Diagnostics is seeking a compassionate Occupational Therapist to empower students and collaborate with schools. You will assess needs, communicate findings, and develop evidence-based interventions with the IEP team to promote participation and independence in education.

You will deliver direct therapy or supervise COTAs, maintain progress records, and actively participate in IEP meetings and parent conferences to advocate for student growth and success.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree or higher from an accredited Occupational Therapy program.
  • Active Occupational Therapist license issued by the Texas Advisory Board of Occupational Therapy (TABOT).
  • CPR certification is required.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate needs: Perform Occupational Therapy assessments to determine students' needs and eligibility for specialized services.
  • Communicate findings: Communicate evaluation findings to parents, educators, and other stakeholders, offering clear, actionable recommendations.
  • Develop interventions: Collaborate with the IEP team to create evidence-based interventions that promote student participation, access to education, and skill development.
  • Provide therapy: Deliver direct therapy services or oversee COTAs in implementing IEP goals.
  • Monitor progress: Maintain accurate, detailed records of student progress and use data to adjust interventions as needed.

Your Role:
