Minimum Qualifications (Job Code H1001): High school diploma or equivalent
Preferred Qualifications: Some technical college courses preferred (CIST 1122, CIST 1401, and CIST 2411). Excellent customer service and communication skills required. Should be able to troubleshoot virtual machines, operating system (Windows, Linux, and Unix), hardware, software, Microsoft Office 2013/2016 applications, cd/dvd burning, and printer issues. Ability to be flexible in working conditions, schedules, and be able to lift 15 to 30 lbs. Open to training and skills development. We also require the following skills: attention to detail, ability to multitask, stay on top of deadlines, fast learner, training skills, presentation skills, reporting/documenting capabilities, and excellent people skills. Experience or certification in Net+, Security +, Blackboard, VMware, VirtualBox, Microsoft Office 2013/2016, Banner Web, Browsers, and any other computer certification is a plus. Preference will be given to applicants who are current students at Gwinnett Technical College in the Computer Science Division.
