Job summary

Westtown School seeks a Technology Support Specialist to provide technical support, training, and guidance to students, families, faculty and staff across school programs. The ideal candidate will diagnose issues, support Google Workspace and educational software, and create accessible workflows.

The role requires strong problem-solving, communication and organizational skills, plus experience with operating systems (Windows, MacOS, ChromeOS, iOS, Android) and classroom AV equipment.

Qualifications

• BA or BS degree required.
• Minimum of three years’ experience providing technical support.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Experience delivering technical training and supporting educational software.

Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of technical support requests received via phone, email and ticketing system.
• Support schoolwide use of student information and learning management systems.
• Create and maintain complex spreadsheets and dashboards for data reporting.
• Support schoolwide use of Google Workspace software.
• Manage user accounts across multiple software platforms.
• Develop and deliver training sessions for faculty, staff and students.
• Configure, image, deploy, and inventory school-owned devices.
• Troubleshoot classroom AV technology issues.
• Coordinate repairs with third-party vendors and monitor warranty work.
