Job summary

St. Joseph County ISD is seeking an Technology Support Specialist to install, repair and support hardware, software and Internet services across educational environments.

The role covers Windows, MacOS, iOS, Android, Linux, ChromeOS and cloud apps like GSuite and Microsoft 365. You will help end users, maintain equipment inventories, and assist with classroom tech including Chrome devices, SIS logins, and printer support.

Qualifications

Associate degree or relevant experience in information systems.
1–3 years in a related field.
Excellent customer service and communication skills.
Educational environment experience preferred.
Experience maintaining and troubleshooting hardware/software.

Responsibilities

Respond to end user inquiries via ticket system; diagnose hardware, software, and network issues.
Maintain inventory of devices for districts and update documentation.
Assist students with logging into systems (SIS) and use Google Workspace tools.
Support printers, AV equipment, and classroom technology across sites.
Work with IS team to procure devices per district policies.
Provide end-user training and share knowledge with colleagues.
