Job summary

York Catholic District School Board is seeking a Customer Service-Learning Support Technician to provide first-level IS support across school sites and facilities. You will handle hardware maintenance, software issues, and data systems, ensuring smooth operation of learning technologies for staff, students, and parents.

You will troubleshoot devices like Chromebooks, iPads, and laptops, support SIS and Google Workspace, and contribute to end-user documentation and training initiatives.

Qualifications

• Advanced Diploma in Computer Technology or related field is required.
• Minimum 2 years of information systems experience.
• Valid driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle for travel to school sites.

Responsibilities

• Provide remote, phone, email, and onsite technical support for hardware, software, OS, login issues, and network connectivity.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve issues with workstations and mobile devices (Chromebooks, iPads, laptops, smartphones) and interactive boards.
• Log, analyze, and resolve issues in the ticketing system in a timely manner.
