Job summary

Park County School District 6 is seeking a Technology Specialist to support students and staff by resolving software and hardware issues, maintaining equipment, and assisting with district business applications across multiple platforms.

Responsibilities include installing hardware and software for 500–2,000 devices annually, training staff, maintaining inventories, and collaborating with vendors to repair or replace technology assets as needed.

Qualifications

• Ability to troubleshoot hardware and software issues across multiple platforms.
• Experience with maintaining inventory of devices and parts.
• Ability to train staff on new and existing software and devices.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist users with computers, mobile devices, printers, and audiovisual issues for immediate resolution or escalation.
• Install and set up computer hardware and software for 500–2,000 devices annually.
• Instruct personnel to use operating systems and application software.
• Maintain detailed inventory of district resources for audits and rotation planning.
• Provide technical support to staff to ensure efficiency of software products.
• Troubleshoot software/hardware issues and provide user training.
