Job summary

The University of South Carolina is seeking an Education Specialist to design, implement, and evaluate educational programs that prevent and respond to discrimination, harassment, and sexual misconduct. You will translate complex laws into engaging content and collaborate with campus partners to meet diverse learning needs across in-person, virtual, and blended formats.

  • Collaborate with subject-matter experts to identify educational needs and learning objectives.
  • Exercise sound judgment in determining appropriate educational approaches.
  • Work independently with limited direction and manage multiple programs.
  • Develop effective learning materials using appropriate instructional methods and technologies.
  • Provide educational programming during evenings and weekends as needed.
  • Strong written, oral, presentation, facilitation, interpersonal, organizational, and project-management skills.
