Job summary

The Medical University of South Carolina is seeking a seasoned Compliance Leader to ensure enterprise-wide adherence to federal and state regulations, including Title VI, Title VII, ADA, and Section 1557 across the University, Hospital, and Regional Health Networks.

You will supervise investigations of discrimination complaints, coordinate responses with agencies, develop reporting, and lead annual training on EEO and related topics, partnering with MUHA Talent Acquisition and SHS.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent required.
• Minimum 7 years progressive work experience and 2 years management experience (as described).
• Experience with Title VI, Title VII, ADA, and related compliance programs is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure enterprise-wide compliance with federal and state regulations across the University, Hospital, and Regional Health Networks.
• Conduct intake assessments and investigations related to internal discrimination complaints and coordinate responses to agencies.
• Coordinate and organize enterprise-wide training on EEO, ADA, and related compliance topics.
• Collaborate with Student Health Services and academic programs as needed for policy implementation.
• Perform other duties as assigned by MUHA leadership.
