Job summary

Music & Arts, a division of Guitar Center, is the nation's largest school music dealer serving band and orchestra programs with rentals, repairs, and private lessons. We are seeking an Education Account Manager to work with schools from elementary through high school.

You will be the primary liaison between Music & Arts and the schools in your territory, cultivating educator relationships, driving rentals and repairs, and expanding product adoption while representing us as a trusted partner.

Qualifications

• Sales, customer engagement, or community relations experience.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to travel throughout assigned territory.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; ability to learn CRM systems.
• Valid driver's license and auto insurance.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Build trust-based relationships with educators, administrators, and district decision-makers.
• Expand Music & Arts' footprint using regional school lists and database.
• Establish weekly outreach rhythms (calls, emails, school visits, virtual meetings).
• Develop territory plans focused on new school programs, educator support, and local engagement.
• Drive net-new program creation, renewals, and expansions across rentals, repairs, and product categories.
• Collaborate with Regional Logistics Coordinators to stay focused on client-facing activity.
