Job summary

Music & Arts, a division of Guitar Center, seeks an Education Account Manager to build relationships with schools from grade schools to high schools. You will serve as the primary conduit between Music & Arts and the schools in your assigned territory, cultivating educator relationships and driving rental, repair, and product growth.

You will collaborate with stores and regional teams to host educator nights, community events, and back-to-school events, promote resources, and expand program

Qualifications

• Sales, customer engagement, or community relations experience.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to travel throughout assigned territory.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; ability to learn CRM systems.
• Valid driver’s license and auto insurance.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Build trust-based relationships with music educators, administrators, and district decision-makers.
• Expand footprint using database and prioritized regional school lists.
• Establish weekly outreach rhythms: calls, emails, school visits, virtual meetings.
• Develop strategic territory plans focused on new programs and local engagement.
• Achieve weekly educator conversations, meetings, and school visits.
• Respond to inbound leads within 24 hours.
• Maintain Salesforce pipeline with next steps, dates, notes, and stages.
• Drive new programs, renewals, and expansions across rentals, repairs, and products.
• Coordinate with Regional Logistics Coordinators for client activity.
• Host educator nights, community events, and back-to-school events.
• Promote in-store resources and promotions for educators/parents.
• Support store-based education initiatives and recruitment events.
• Drive school traffic to stores to boost brand visibility.
