Job summary

Music & Arts, a division of Guitar Center, seeks a Business Development Sales Specialist to cultivate school partnerships and expand rentals, repairs, and private lessons. You will serve as the primary liaison to educators and district leaders, building trust and growing adoption across your territory.

You will coordinate with local stores and Regional Logistics Coordinators, drive teacher outreach, renewals, and program growth, and represent Music & Arts in communities nationwide.

Qualifications

• Sales, customer engagement, or community relations experience.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to travel throughout assigned territory.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; ability to learn CRM systems.
• Valid driver’s license and auto insurance.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Experience working with music educators or school districts is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop relationships with educators, administrators, and district decision-makers.
• Expand Music & Arts foot print using regional school lists and outreach routines.
• Conduct weekly educator outreach via calls, emails, visits, and virtual meetings.
• Drive program renewals, expansions, and rentals across music categories.
• Collaborate with stores, CSD, and RLCs to ensure educator support and events.
• Host educator nights and in-store events to boost engagement and loyalty.
