Job summary

GRAEF is seeking a dynamic, results‑driven business development leader for the Education market. You will expand our presence, cultivate client relationships, and lead strategic education initiatives across offices with a hybrid schedule.

Responsibilities include pipeline development, project oversight, and acting as a technical advisor. A PE license and 8+ years in engineering BD are strongly preferred, with travel up to 15% to collaborate with multiple offices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering with at least 8 years of experience in developing and managing a technical market or business development.
• Experience selling technical engineering services to education facilities, including new construction, additions, renovations and repairs.
• Proven leadership and BD planning experience with client development and proposals.
• Professional registration as a PE is required or highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan and lead the business development initiatives for GRAEF’s Education market sector.
• Develop pipeline of business opportunities throughout the U.S.
• Project oversight including setting priorities and objectives, project financial management, plus hands-on design involvement.
• Serve as a technical resource for a multi-disciplinary team and manage client relationships including presentations and negotiations.
• Travel a minimum of 15% to work with teams in each office and meet clients.
