Job summary

GRAEF is seeking a dynamic, results-driven business development leader for the Education market sector. The role focuses on expanding the firm’s presence in the U.S. education facilities sector, building and maintaining client relationships, and leading complex, highly visible projects.

You will serve as a key technical advisor, engage in strategy, and oversee project delivery, often balancing several priorities in a fast-paced, multi-disciplinary environment. A hybrid schedule is offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering and at least 8 years of experience developing and managing a technical market, and selling engineering services to education facilities.
• Proven experience in business development planning, marketing activities, client development, presentation, and proposal development.
• Technical project management experience is desirable and professional PE registration is preferred.
• Proven leadership experience is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan and lead business development initiatives for GRAEF’s Education market sector.
• Develop a pipeline of opportunities across the United States.
• Oversee projects: set priorities, objectives, and budgets; contribute to design processes; serve as technical resource for multi-disciplined teams.
• Engage in client management, including fluent presentations, contract negotiations, and client development activities.
• Travel at least 15% to work with teams in GRAEF offices and meet clients.
