Job summary

Renbrook School seeks a full-time IT Support Technician for the 2026-2027 school year. The role provides front-line help for Windows devices, Microsoft 365, classroom tech, printers, and A/V equipment, with summer prep for student laptops.

You will join a three-member IT team, reporting to the Director of Technology, emphasizing service, teamwork, and continual learning in a school setting.

Qualifications

• Strong working knowledge of Windows.
• Familiarity with Microsoft 365 applications.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to diagnose and resolve common technical issues.
• Comfort with adapting to changing priorities and passion for problem solving
• Ability to lift and move computer equipment up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Respond to help desk requests via ticketing system, email, phone, and in-person support.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, network, printing, and classroom technology issues.
• Assist users with Microsoft 365 applications including Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, and Office apps.
• Reset passwords and assist with account-related issues.
• Escalate complex issues to senior IT staff as needed.
• Configure, deploy, and maintain Windows laptops and desktops; install software updates.
• Maintain inventory of technology equipment and image new devices for deployment.
• Support classroom AV and projection equipment; assist teachers with tech integration.

Education

Associate’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field
