Job summary

Macmillan Learning is seeking a Field Sales Representative to cover the Virginia territory, engaging with campus decision makers and driving adoption of Macmillan Learning products. This role requires extensive campus visits, on-site meetings, and strong relationship-building with faculty and staff.

The position emphasizes travel, performance tracking, and collaboration with sales leadership to achieve quarterly objectives and expand product usage across courses.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Direct sales experience required.
• Ability to travel, including more than 40 hours/week during peak seasons.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a sales team.
• Excellent communication skills and customer-facing professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Preplans daily on-campus sales calls.
• Conducts campus meetings and presentations.
• Delivers sales materials and product demos.
• Manages CRM with customer information, contacts, opportunities and pipelines.
• Travels to campuses within the Virginia territory to meet decision makers.
