Job summary

TrulyHired is seeking a Desktop Support Specialist to deliver technical support to educational entities within the NEOnet consortium. Responsibilities include installing, troubleshooting, and upgrading computer hardware/software in a school environment, maintaining inventory, and supporting fellow technicians.

The role requires strong organizational skills, ability to train others, and effective communication across staff.

Qualifications

Ability to read and understand software documentation and develop instructional materials.
Ability to organize tasks into a logical sequence.
Familiarity with various computer systems and ability to use associated equipment.
Ability to communicate with staff and train others in computer use.

Responsibilities

Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and upgrade computer hardware, software, and peripheral equipment in a school setting.
Respond to work orders and maintain daily records of work orders and inventory.
Provide technical support and assistance to fellow technicians as needed.
Maintain desktops, PCs, Chromebooks and other electronic devices.
Oversee training and development of desktop support technicians.
Assist in advancing the district's technology services.
