NEONET in Ohio is hiring a Desktop Support Specialist to deliver technical support in educational environments. You will install, repair, and maintain computers, troubleshoot LAN/WAN, and manage inventory with daily work orders.

The role requires reading software docs, training staff, and coordinating tasks across teams. Strong organizational and communication skills are essential in a fast-paced setting.

Qualificações

• Ability to read and interpret software documentation and train users
• Ability to work with diverse teams and handle information confidentially
• Ability to organize tasks into a logical sequence
• Familiarity with various computer systems and related equipment
• Ability to communicate clearly and train others in equipment use

Responsabilidades

• Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and upgrade computer hardware and software in school settings
• Repair and replace LAN/WAN hardware and peripherals
• Respond to work orders, log work, and track inventory
• Diagnose hardware/software problems using diagnostic tools
• Provide technical support to fellow technicians
• Maintain desktops, PCs, Chromebooks and other devices
• Assist in AV equipment and peripheral understanding and support
• Prioritize tasks and manage time effectively
