Job summary

Chicago Public Schools seeks a Network Data Strategist to support 1-2 networks across 20-40 urban schools. You will help build a robust data strategy, collaborate with network leaders and principals, and drive planning processes to raise student achievement.

In this role you will develop, implement, and evaluate Continuous Improvement Work Plans, provide timely feedback, and ensure data access and metrics guide school improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; preferred fields include Data Analytics, Education, Policy.
• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in data analysis and strategy.
• Experience with data visualization tools (Power BI, Google Data Studio) preferred.
• Experience with schools or educational data cycles is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Build capacity among school and network leaders for data-driven planning.
• Coordinate with the Chief of Schools to align action with improvement strategies.
• Support CIWP development and evaluation through data-driven cycles.
• Provide actionable feedback to principals and leadership teams.
• Ensure effective data access and metric selection for planning.
• Offer strategic data analysis to improve student outcomes and programs.
• Serve as the network data expert across CPS data systems.
