Qualifications

Roles and Responsibilities
Role Summary:
  • Setup & operate CNC mills, lathes, and/or EDM machines.
  • Work with materials such as castings, forgings, screw machine blanks, turret lathe blanks, sawed blanks, and bar stock.
  • Change chuck jaws, tool holders, fixtures, boring bars, drills, reamers, and set up CNC programs and offsets to produce acceptable parts.
Essential Responsibilities
  • Set-up and operate CNC mills and/or lathes.
  • Work with various materials involved in manufacturing.
  • Change equipment components and set up CNC programs.
  • Follow Lean Manufacturing guidelines including one-piece flow, standard work, 6S, setup reduction, and wet process lines.
  • Maintain high standards of housekeeping for safety and efficiency.
  • Make decisions based on experience and data.
Qualifications/Requirements
  • High School Diploma / GED.
  • Minimum 6 months of machining experience with CNC lathes and/or mills.
  • Experience or coursework in geometric tolerancing.
  • Experience reading and interpreting blueprints.
Eligibility Requirement
  • Ability to lift, move, and manipulate fixtures and hardware up to 25 lbs., with or without accommodations.
Desired Characteristics
  • Ability to verify work using precision measuring tools.
  • Capability to operate both CNC and manual equipment concurrently.
  • Effective team and environment working skills.
  • Minimal supervision with a good attendance record.
  • Ability to produce error-free products and follow instructions precisely.
  • Experience machining high-temp materials and operating CMMs.

This role requires access to U.S. export-controlled information. Final offers depend on obtaining necessary authorization.
