Responsibilities

• Set-up and operate multiple packaging machines to ensure accurate code dates, weights, and proper packaging of products.
• Check that products are dated and sealed with minimal waste.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Perform basic preventative maintenance on packaging equipment.
• Wear protective gear when using chemicals for cleaning and sanitizing.
• Inspect conveyors and scales before start-ups and changeovers.
• Troubleshoot issues and make operational adjustments.

Role Details

This is a 24-hour operation, requiring physical work in a loud environment, often standing for long periods, with limited temperature control. Minimum qualifications include:

• At least 18 years old.
• Availability to work weekends, holidays, and shifts.
• Mechanical inclination and preferably 1 year of machine operation experience.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and perform physical activities with or without accommodations.
• Basic math skills and English literacy.
• Comfort with heights, climbing, bending, and repetitive movements.
