Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field.
• Experience as Managing Editor or Senior Managing Editor.
• Experience with intensive team collaboration and leading teams.
• Proficiency in at least one major online peer review system.
• Experience managing client projects and delivering outstanding customer service.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks under deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary contact for client queries about day-to-day management of editorial services.
• Monitor distribution of work and identify needs of the division to report to the Senior Manager.
• Ensure day-to-day completion of tasks and overall client satisfaction.
• Address problems with tasks or staff to maintain client satisfaction.
• Ensure staff are trained on current protocols and systems.
• Improve internal processes and best practices for the client group.
• Contribute to performance reviews and monitor productivity and workloads.
• Enforce Wiley policies and support staff with questions about policies.
• Travel to client meetings and industry conferences as needed.
