Job summary

EY is seeking a Staff Internet Ingress & Edge Engineer to support enterprise delivery and ingress operations across AWS, AVI, Azure, DNS, and edge security. You will monitor health, assist with onboarding, and implement changes under approved controls. The role combines hands-on operations with a path toward greater platform ownership while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Associate's or bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Cybersecurity, or equivalent preferred.
• 2+ years of experience in networking, cloud operations, load balancing, application delivery, infrastructure support, or related technical role.
• Knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS, SSL/TLS, routing, and high-availability fundamentals.
• Experience troubleshooting production infrastructure or application connectivity using documented processes.
• Ability to follow change controls, runbooks, escalation procedures, and documentation standards.

Responsibilities

• Monitor ingress and edge platform health, availability, alerts, capacity, and performance.
• Triage application connectivity, load balancing, DNS, certificates, routing, and traffic delivery issues.
• Follow runbooks to collect evidence, validate health, and escalate complex issues.
• Participate in incident response, problem investigation, and on-call support.
• Maintain ticket updates and operational records.
• Assist with upgrades, maintenance, and lifecycle activities.
