Job summary

Sentara is hiring an Emergency Department Technician (ED Tech) at Sentara Princess Anne Hospital in Virginia Beach, VA. This full-time (36 hrs) day shift involves assisting physicians, advanced practitioners, or nurses with plans of care for emergency patients and performing procedures under supervision.

Education

HS Diploma or Equivalent

Job Requirements/Certifications

Required: Clinical - Required: EMT-B with state or national certification at time of hire OR Successful completion of US Military Hospital Corps School, qualified MMAC candidates OR. Current students enrolled in a clinical program (e.g., RN, LPN, Respiratory, Physical Therapy).

Candidates with prior employment in the Sentara ED tech job code in the past two years will also be considered in lieu of the 3 criteria above

We provide market-competitive compensation packages, inclusive of base pay, incentives, and benefits. The base pay range for full-time employment is $20.07 - $29.88 hourly. Additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, on-call pay, overtime, shift premiums, extra-shift incentives, or bonus opportunities. Compensation within the range may vary based on qualifications, experience, location, market conditions, and business needs.
