Sentara Independence seeks an ED Tech to join the Emergency Department team on the Weekend Days FT shift (Fri-Sun, 7a-7p). You will assist physicians and nurses, start IVs, perform EKGs, point of care testing, and support patient flow in emergency care.

An ED Tech assists the Physician, Advanced Practitioner, or Nurse in implementing plans of care for emergency/minor emergency care patients. Performs patient procedures and treatments under the supervision of the Physician, Advanced Practitioner, or Nurse.
In this role, you are an integral part of the Emergency Department Team, responsible for starting IVs, EKGs, point of care testing, blood cultures, vital signs, arrival prioritization, and stocking duties.

Education: HS Diploma or Equivalent
We provide market-competitive compensation packages, inclusive of base pay, incentives, and benefits. The base pay range for full‑time employment is $20.07 - $29.88 hourly.
Additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on‑call pay, overtime, shift premiums, extra‑shift incentives, or bonus opportunities. Compensation within the range may vary based on qualifications, experience, location, market conditions, and business needs.
