Overlake Medical Center in Bellevue is hiring an Emergency Department Technician (ED Tech) to support patient care in our fast-paced ED. You will work under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, providing direct patient care to diverse ages and performing select point-of-care testing and specimen handling per protocol.

Ideal candidates bring WA NA-C or NA-R or MA-P licensure, BLS, and healthcare experience, with strong communication and teamwork skills.

Qualifications

• Requires WA NA-C or WA NA-R or WA MA-P licensure.
• BLS for Health Care Providers required.
• Minimum one year healthcare patient-contact experience preferred.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and EKG preferred.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Provide direct patient care under RN supervision.
• Perform waived and moderately complex point-of-care testing.
• Obtain blood samples and transport specimens per protocol.
• Maintain hospital equipment knowledge and accurate record keeping.
