Job summary

Overlake Medical Center in Bellevue, WA is seeking an Emergency Department Technician (ED Tech) for the evening shift. You will provide direct patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, perform point-of-care testing, obtain blood samples, and transport specimens as needed.

Qualifications

• Requires NA-C or NA-R licensure upon hire, or MA-P consideration.
• BLS for Health Care Providers required.
• Minimum one year of health care experience with patient contact preferred.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and EKG preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care under RN supervision.
• Obtain blood samples from patients and transport specimens.
• Perform waived or moderately complex point-of-care testing per protocol.
• Maintain accurate charting and documentation of care.
• Provide excellent customer service to patients and families.
