Job summary

Overlake Medical Center seeks an Emergency Department Technician (ED Tech) for the Lynnwood Off Campus Emergency Department. This hybrid position follows the MultiCare model used across Washington State, and the ED Tech will perform waived and moderately complex testing with quality oversight while providing direct patient care under RN supervision.

Minimum requirements include a High School Diploma, Healthcare Provider CPR, and licensure options NAC/NAR/MA-P with the remaining license obtained

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Health Care Provider CPR certification is required.
• Requires NAC/NAR/MA-P license within 90 days of hire.
• Minimum of one year recent health-care experience preferred.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and EKG is preferred.
• Computer familiarity is preferred.
• Must read, write and speak English.

Responsibilities

• Perform waived and moderately complex testing and quality activities in a designated laboratory.
• Provide direct patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.
