Job summary

Overlake Hospital Medical Center is seeking an Emergency Department Technician for our Bellevue Campus ED. The ED Tech provides direct patient care under the supervision of an RN and may perform waived point-of-care testing.

You will obtain blood samples, transport specimens and assist with care for patients of various ages in a Level III ED. Qualified candidates will have WA NA‑C/NA‑R or MA‑P, BLS, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Provides direct patient care under RN supervision.
• May perform waived and moderately complex POCT per protocol.
• Obtains blood samples and transports specimens for POC testing.
• Requires WA NA‑C/NA‑R or MA‑P with 90 days to obtain.
• Strong written and verbal communication in English.
