Job summary

Qualifications

• Two years Pharmacy Technician experience required.
• PTCB Medication History certification preferred.
• Strong communication and excellent interpersonal skills.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in work.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with EHR systems.

Responsibilities

• Interview patients and families to compile a current home medication list.
• Prompt for OTC medications and other products.
• Verify regimens with outpatient pharmacies and providers.
• Record allergy and medication history in the EHR.
• Support inpatient technician duties when needed.
• Participate in Leap Frog data collection.
