Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Associate's degree preferred.
• 1–3 years related work experience required.
• Experience with computer systems and web-based applications; MS Office (Outlook/Word/Excel/PowerPoint/Access) is expected.

Responsibilities

• Triages ED calls from outside providers, families and clinicians.
• Organizes and maintains patient charts and facilitates transport for ED patients.
• Ensures patient registration and billing information is complete and accurate.
• Obtains and verifies health insurance information and HIPAA consent from patients/families.
• Scans EMS Run Sheets and creates registration packets and required packets for stroke/SAH transfers.
